EDGEWATER, FL — At just one year old and weighing in at a sturdy 60 pounds, Scout is winning hearts across Volusia County. This affectionate and playful pup was found wandering the streets of Edgewater as a stray, and despite never being claimed, he’s remained full of love, energy, and tail-wagging optimism.
Now under the care of local trainers at Baileydogtraining, Scout is thriving in onsite training and showing off his impressive manners. He’s crate-trained, housetrained, and gets along beautifully with kids, cats, and other dogs. Whether it’s belly rubs, splashing in water, or curling up for a cuddle, Scout is always ready to share joy with anyone willing to give him a chance.
“He’s the full package,” said one volunteer. “Smart, gentle, and just bursting with love. Scout is the kind of dog who makes every day better.”
Scout’s adoption fee is $200, and it comes with a generous bundle of perks designed to help new owners start off on the right paw. Included in the adoption are:
