The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. during a heavy downpour that left standing water across several roadways in the area.
According to eyewitnesses and responding officers, the truck was rounding the curve of the off-ramp when it hydroplaned, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle skidded across the wet pavement before coming to a halt without striking any other vehicles or infrastructure. The driver remained inside the cab and was unharmed.
